Port Maintenance Worker Fatally Crushed By Gantry Crane Personnel Elevator [Taipei, Taiwan – 28 July 2019]

A report received by Blueoceana Company yesterday reveals that Mr. Huang Nan, a maintenance worker, was struck and killed by a personnel elevator that free-fell a distance of three meters (9.84 feet) during adjacent repair work he was conducting on a container gantry crane at one of the Taipei Port Container Terminal Corp facilities, Taipei Port, Taiwan.
