Marine Terminal Worker Fatally Injured in Forklift-Related Accident [Antwerp, Belgium ~ 15 January 2018]

Blueoceana Company has learned that a 53 year old worker employed at one of the Euroports facilities in the Waaslandhaven area of the Port of Antwerp, was killed in an apparent hit-by-forklift accident this morning.

Understandably, at this point in time deeper facts are simply not in abundance. However, the sole media report presently available to us (see link below) suggests that the worker was on a bicycle at the time of the accident. The English translation was acquired through the means of Google Translate.

As further reports offering additional information become available, this post will be supplemented.
