Port Worker Struck and Killed By Rubber Tired Gantry Crane  [24 March 2017 ~ Valparaiso, Chile]

Late last Friday evening, Hernan Vedia Lopez, a port worker at the TPS (South Pacific Terminal) facility, was apparently struck and killed by a rubber tired gantry crane within the terminal’s container yard. We understand that the yard was associated with operations at Berth 5 (see photo below).
